Financial Information for Parents

The Partners believe that much of what students know about managing their income comes from parents. Your daughter or son is enrolled in the course entitled Keys to Financial Success. One of the main goals for this curriculum is to ease your student’s transition from dependence to independence regarding personal finance. We also know that no one person has all the answers to all the questions youth have about money.

What this section provides are links to finding information on the internet that relate to the five Key Themes for the course. We cannot possibly list all the ones that have the information a person could use: however, we think that the ones that are listed are good starting points for various topics. We suggest that you utilize this information to aid you in helping your young adult begin to get a grip on the reality of income limits and the decision making that goes along with those limits. By using the information you can begin discussions in your household that support the youth’s classroom experiences. Students may also use these sites in class.
