The Operations Management Major

Operations Management is all about the transformation of raw materials, labor and capital into final production and/or services.  The balance between supply and demand, the gap between potential and existing efficiency and capability, quality improvement - are all weighed on the Operations Management (OM) road. To view the requirements for an undergraduate degree in OM, click here.

OM majors have careers as operations analysts, quality managers, schedulers and planners, and inventory managers.

Because OM uses cutting-edge technology, data analysis, and critical decision-making, courses include:

·         Planning and Control

·         Quality Management

·         Analysis of Operations Problems

·         Supply Chain Management
